WORLD MONSTER
TRUCK RACING LEAGUE
- RANKING SYSTEM FOR MONSTER TRUCK RACING -
The World Monster Truck
Racing League (WMTRL) was an independent ranking and record-keeping group
that gathered monster truck racing results from around the world and
compiled the data into one global standing.
Each year the WMTRL
gathered and compiled real monster truck racing results from around the
world. They weighted each event based on field size and caliber of competition
to determine the number of points for each event, and then awarded points to
each driver based on his or her performance. Throughout the year, drivers
were ranked based on their total points and average points. The driver with
the best combination of those received the highest rank.
