BIGFOOT 30TH ANNIVERSARY

The crowd was electric as the big blue Bigfoot Ford roared onto the track and they were not to be disappointed!!  Dave Harkey brought the legendary truck over the far set of cars with a lot of speed and then headed down to the far end of the track.  Harkey lined up the truck toward the wheelie bump, and roared over it.  When the truck hit the ground, Harkey nailed the gas, riding the truck into an incredible full wheelie down the pulling track!!  Bigfoot then dropped back to the ground and proceeded to stomp down the near set of cars.  Harkey charged back down to the far end of the track to the wheelie bump for another try!!  Once again, Bigfoot caught the perfect bounce and rode out a nearly completely vertical wheelie all the way down the track!!  Incredible run by Dave Harkey and by far the best of the night!!  The bar was set even higher and it would be difficult to top that run!!

AVENGER

But if anyone could top that run by Bigfoot, it is definitely former Monster Jam World Finals Freestyle Champion Jim Kohler in the awesome '57 Chevy Avenger!!  Kohler brought the Avenger truck out onto the track and tried to get a good slap wheelie going, but couldn't quite get the lift that Bigfoot had.  Next Kohler tried a couple of hits on the cars, and got some incredible air!!  He followed that up with an insane set of donuts that threw dust high in the air!!  Kohler ended his run by hitting the far van stack and roaring down the track, over the tough truck mounds!!  A great run by Jimmy Kohler, but it would not be enough to knock off the big blue Ford!!

No official winner was ever announced, but I believe Bigfoot was the clear winner of the Freestyle competition.  Congratulations to Geremie Dishman for his big win in racing and to Dave Harkey for the unofficial Freestyle victory!!
