AWESOME KONG

Next out would be another driver pulling double duty, Rex Smith driving Awesome Kong.  Something must not have been quite right with the truck however, as after only two quick hits on the cars, the run ended for Awesome Kong.  That would not be enough to move on in the competition.

NASTY BOY

After putting on such a show in the Wheelie Competition, it was going to be fun to see what Ronnie Sturges had up his sleeve for Freestyle.  Sturges started off his run with a couple of solid hits on the cars and some nice sky wheelies, but it was again, as was the trend, his final move that really set his run apart.  Sturges approached the near carset, and absolutely launched the truck, getting an unbelievable sky wheelie over the cars!!  This definitely qualified as a "wow" moment, and after a poor run by Awesome Kong easily placed Nasty Boy on the hot seat with only Bigfoot left to run.

SUMMIT BIGFOOT

Of course no lead is safe with Dan Runte in Bigfoot still left to go, and Runte showed exactly why that is with an amazing Freestyle run!!  Runte got some great vertical sky wheelies, and gave the longest Freestyle of the evening thus far!!  The best move in his run was very similar to Larry Quick's earlier, as Runte was able to ride out a vertical wheelie all the way across the carset!!  After finishing his run, Runte drove Bigfoot over to the FMX hill, and parked on it, where he then got out to acknowledge the fans.

Dan Runte was declared the winner of the Second Round of Freestyle, and would be competing in the Finals against Don King in Bearfoot.  Once again, it would be the classic battle of Bigfoot vs. Bearfoot, this time for the Freestyle win!!
