Six Additional Trucks Qualify for the Las Vegas World Finals!!:  (Aurora, IL)  The quest to battle against the best at the Monster Jam World Finals next month is heating up as six more teams have qualified to compete at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas on March 24th.
The road to the Monster Jam World Finals is a daunting task with 200 teams battling for one of the coveted 24 invitations. Most have driven nearly 20,000 miles, while trying to find time to maintain, repair, or in most cases, completely replace parts on their war beaten truck. It’s the ultimate reward for their outstanding performances and hard work, and is considered an accomplishment in and of itself; because Vegas continues to push and challenge the most skilled drivers and isn’t for the weak or timid.
The following six trucks join the ranks of legendary champions like Grave Digger and Maximum Destruction in their quest for their first World Finals championship.

- Air Force Afterburner
- Iron Outlaw
- Escalade
- Monster Mutt
- Hot Wheels
- Monster Mutt Dalmatian*
* Indicates trucks inaugural appearance at the Monster Jam World Finals

The above selected include five-time World Finals veterans Monster Mutt and Hot Wheels, as well as inaugural competitor, Monster Mutt Dalmatian. Of these contenders challenging for the championship, Linsey Weenk in Iron Outlaw is favored to prevail. Last year he was one of the fastest on the circuit, but was unable to advance to the semi finals. This year he is geared up to claim his place in World Finals history.
For tickets, Double Down Packages, weekend schedules and/or additional information on the Monster Jam World Finals, fans can log onto MonsterJamOnline.com. (02/27/07)

EDITOR'S NOTE: The eight trucks previously announced are: Grave Digger, Bounty Hunter, Maximum Destruction, Avenger, Batman, Superman, El Toro Loco, and Blue Thunder.

Hotsy® to Keep Dodge Monsters Clean in 2007!!: (Champaign, IL) North America’s #1 name in pressure washers and cleaning systems is teaming up with the #1 monster truck racing team in the country for 2007, and beyond. Hotsy Cleaning Systems and Hall Brothers Racing have signed a deal that will have Hotsy Pressure Washers and Part Washers doing their part to help keep the team’s Raminator and Rammunition Dodge monster trucks looking their best.
The Hall Brothers team has nine championships to their credit, but as team manager Tim Hall will attest “If you want to be the champs, you must first look like the champs.” Tim’s brother Mark Hall, along with team drivers Geremie Dishman and Dale Benear, put their Dodge monster trucks through some of the most grueling conditions imaginable over the course of a year, including mud, water, oil, and even debris from smashed cars and vans. And that’s precisely where Hotsy’s line of portable, heated pressure washers comes in. The team will be using Hotsy pressure washers at the shop and on the road at races and Dodge dealerships nationwide in their quest to not only win races, but to keep their machines looking their very best. The team will also be relying on their Hotsy machines to help them keep their fleet of six Freightliner transport rigs looking show-ready as well.

But the support from Hotsy doesn’t stop there; the team will also be utilizing a variety of Hotsy products in their Champaign, IL –based racing shop. “When the trucks come into the shop after a hard weekend on the road, we will be counting on Hotsy’s 7530 front-loading automatic parts washer to help clean up critical engine, transmission, and axle components,” explained Raminator driver Mark Hall. He went on to add that “We have a reputation for racing clean and powerful monster trucks, and with the help of Hotsy, we will be able to take that to the next level.”
“I think that the coming together of two of the biggest names in cleaning systems and monster truck racing is very exciting!” said Frank Rotondi of Hotsy Cleaning Systems. “After visiting with the team a number of times and realizing first-hand the level of professionalism and attention to detail that these guys have, I’m confident that our line of Hotsy Cleaning Systems will fit right into their program.”
Since taking off in 1970, Hotsy Cleaning Systems (along with their trademark red logo) have gone on to become the most recognized brand in the industry for high-pressure cleaning equipment. With so many products to choose from, there is sure to be a Hotsy cleaning system that will suit your needs. Just visit www.hotsy.com to learn more about their products, and to find one of their 130 dealers nationwide.
Also, be sure to visit www.raminator.com to learn more about Hall Brothers Racing, and their fleet of championship-winning Dodge monster trucks. (02/27/07)

"Road to the World Finals" Update - Who Earned Their Way In??:  Traditionally, the Jacksonville Monster Jam occurs on the last weekend before the World Finals competitors are released, and the official announcement could come as early as today!!  Our UNOFFICIAL Monster Jam "Road to the World Finals" standings are updated with all of this past weekend's results factored in!!

Up front Tom Meents in Maximum Destruction and Adam Anderson in Grave Digger XX continue to dominate, while the only big jump made this week in our ranking system comes courtesy of a big performance by Damon Bradshaw in Air Force Afterburner in Jacksonville, who jumped all the way up into the 10th position overall!!  The rookie's quick adaption to the sport of monster trucks has been nothing short of amazing, and Bradshaw will no doubt be a factor at the World Finals just over a month from now.
No changes back at the transfer spot, with Carl Van Horn in Traxxas T-Maxx holding steady in 24th place. Drivers still just barely on the outside looking in include: Scott Hartsock in Gun Slinger, Dan Rodoni in The Patriot, Phil Foster in Tropical Thunder, John Seasock in Batman, Jim Bendzick in Rolling Thunder, and Michael Vaters in Black Stallion.

WMTRL Announcer - Week Thirteen Recap!!: (WMTRL.com) Michael Vaters has given his homestate crowd in Baltimore, Maryland plenty to cheer about in recent years. After winning the Sunday event in 2005, Vaters swept all 4 events in 2006, and won the first two races at 1st Mariner Arena this year. The Black Stallion was finally defeated by Randy Brown during the semi-finals on Saturday night. But, the two wins this weekend has moved Vaters into 4th place in the world.
Since we didn’t have an update last week, here’s a brief rundown of what’s been going on this past fortnight. Pablo Huffaker’s big lead has been falling apart these past few weeks. He was knocked out in the first round in St. Louis by Michael Vaters last week, and only made one final round in Oklahoma City, where Neil Elliot dominated the weekend......

Edge Monster Madness Heads to the "Holy Land"!!: (Chicago, IL)  Edge Motorsports, the Motorsports division of FMG Events, announced today a newly added Monster Madness tour stop for 2007 in Tel Aviv, Israel. This inaugural event is the first of its kind in Israel and will showcase a world-class line up of both Monster Trucks and Freestyle Motocross riders.

Monster Madness will take place at the Ramat Gan Stadium in Tel Aviv, Israel on June 28th and 30th, 2007. The shows will feature five top caliber Monster Trucks including former World Champion Bounty Hunter and former World Finalist Sudden Impact, which will piloted by recently un-retired celebrity driver Lyle Hancock. "Road to the World Finals" Update - Big Shake-Up!!:  This past weekend brought lots of drama to our UNOFFICIAL Monster Jam "Road to the World Finals" standings!! Several drivers jumped into the top 24, while others fell out...but the big news is that less than 15 points seperate 18th place Chad Forunte in Superman from 34th place Michael Vaters in Black Stallion. Its that close!!

Very few changes in the top 10, most notably Lupe Soza in El Toro Loco jumping up to the 8th spot, while George Belhan in Escalade falls back to 11th. The biggest mover this weekend was Damon Bradshaw in Air Force Afterburner. With a big performance in Minneapolis this weekend including runner-ups in both racing and freestyle, Bradshaw jumped all the way up to the 15th spot from being lower than 30th before.
Other drivers jumping in to the top 24 include Jim Kohler in Avenger, Daron Basl in El Matador, and Rod Schmidt in Grave Digger. Falling out of the top 24 included John Seasock in Batman, Mike Wine in Monster Mutt, Dan Rodoni in The Patriot, and Phil Foster in Tropical Thunder.
Only one weekend left before USHRA typically announces the World Finals lineup, so its the last chance to make that big impression this weekend!!  Drivers competing in the final ELITE level event in Jacksonville have the biggest opportunity to make up ground, but there are plenty of other shows this weekend that will provide opportunity. Eight trucks have been announced by USHRA for Vegas thus far, and they are: Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction, Blue Thunder, El Toro Loco, Superman Batman, Avenger, and Bounty Hunter. Of those trucks, only Batman is not in our top 24, but Seasock sits only 1.75 points from the final transfer spot!!

Maximum Destruction In St. Louis!!:  A sold out crowd of Monster Jam fans packed into the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis tonight and yours truly was on hand for all the action!!  Tom Meents in Maximum Destruction lived up to the name on the side of his truck tonight and dominated the event. Starting out by setting fast time, Meents worked his way through the brackets, eventually defeating Jon Zimmer in T-Maxx for the racing victory.

Freestyle started out slow and was hampered by a lot of the trucks having mechanical difficulties. The adrenaline was pumped up about ten notches however, when Pablo Huffaker in Grave Digger pulled off a giant leap that resulted in a front wheel breaking clean off. Huffaker went on to to fill the clock, finally stuffing Digger in between the van stack and the car set, where it would become another freestyle obstacle for Tom Meents and Maximum Destruction.

Meents roared out onto the track, and from there on it was Maximum Destruction, literally. Meents brought huge air, annihilated a camper, and then took on the van stack sideways landing right next to the disabled Digger and rolling onto his roof. Meents wasn't done however, ordering the track crew to turn Max D back over without even getting out of the truck. The judges flipped up a 28, tieing Meents with Digger for the freestyle victory.

After re-firing, Meents continued his aerial assault, with one huge jump resulting in the body being completely skinned from the truck. But the move that will stand out in everyone's mind will be the mind-boggling save Meents pulled off after hitting the bus stack sideways and flipping end over end off the obstacle. The run finally came to an end with Max D on its roof once again.

A wild night in St. Louis came to a close, and Tom Meents' performance will no doubt go down as one of the craziest freestyle runs ever. We will have a huge photo gallery from the show very soon, so stay tuned!!  (02/17/07)

WMTRL Announcer - Week Eleven Recap!!: (WMTRL.com) Pablo Huffaker proved his ability to adapt to different courses, as he took 3 of 4 wins on the slick concrete Chicago-style course in Nassau County this past weekend. Huffaker lost the opening event to Tom Meents, but then won the next three over John Seasock, Tony Farrel, and Tom Meents. Each event was worth a whopping 102 points due to the quality of trucks and an 8-truck field. Huffaker is now one of only two drivers to have more than 1000 points on the season. In fact, he’s over half-way to his points total from last year! Marc McDonald won only once in three tries in Philly, but made the final round each night, and has moved into 2nd place. Linsey Weenk won 2 high-ranking events in the Pepsi Center, defeating a field of Jimmy Creten, David Smith, Daron Basl, Charlie Pauken and Frank Krmel for 194 points.

** All lineups subject to change, lineups for shows later in the year coming soon!! **

As you can see, this year's primary championship contenders will be Bigfoot, Raminator, and Rammunition as they are the only trucks currently scheduled to run all the events on tour. However, there is an outside shot for Grave Digger, as it is expected that the team will only be missing two points events. That certainly puts them at a handicap, but doesn't completely rule them out either.
This season will also see old and new faces making appearances at different stops on the tour. Familiar faces like Doug Noelke and the Big Dawg and Andy Hoffman with the new War Wagon will be seen at certain venues, and appearances will be made by Black Stallion, and Avenger & Spike. New faces like Joe Sylvester and Bad Habit and Lionel Easter in Instigator will get their chance to shine on one of the industry's premiere series as well.
Thanks to Special Events and Jessica Hubley for giving us a first look at the official lineups for the first five events (check them out below), be sure to head on over to FamilyEvents.com for more information on the events below. We'll see you at the 4 Wheel Jamboree!!  (02/14/07)

"Road to the World Finals" Update - Only Two Weeks Left!!:  There are only two more weekends left before the end of February which typically marks the announcement of the World Finals lineup, and with time running out there is plenty of jockeying around for that final spot in our unofficial Monster Jam ranking system. No Elite or Major level shows occurred this weekend so there were not many siginificant changes in the overall standings, but a whole host of Normal level events did provide ample opportunity for drivers to make their move.

This week's big mover is Gary Porter in Grave Digger who vaulted up to 13th from 19th with yet another dominating performance this past weekend. Porter is ranked 13th overall and has not even had the opportunity to race in any of the higher points Elite or Major level events--he has just been that dominant in the Normal level events he has competed in this year.
Looking back to the transfer spot, its Phil Foster in Tropical Thunder who jumps into the top 24 this week, with Carl Van Horn in T-Maxx just hanging on to the final spot. Scott Hartsock, Rick Raab, and Jim Bendzick were tied for the 24th spot last week, but have now been bumped out. Rod Schmidt in Grave Digger and Michael Vaters in Black Stallion have made big moves this week and now sit right outside the top 24 as well.
With Elite level events in St. Louis, Miami, and Minneapolis this weekend, the standings are sure to get shaken up again, so stay tuned for updates!! For the full unofficial rankings, all this weekend's results and more, click the link below!!  (02/12/07)

Lupe Soza started the evening off by winning the wheelie contest in dominant fashion. Soza then piloted his way to the racing finals only to be upset by impressive rookie Bobby Parr in the Team Suzuki truck.
